Did you miss me?

I can't believe how long I have gone without writing even so much as a hello!
Let me catch you up on our family events...

Our Summer was wonderful and altogether too short. We ended it with a drive through Hurricane Hanna to OBX. We spent a fun week in Avon before heading home to begin our KONOS school year. Don't ask for pictures because, although we purchased a camera and I double checked to make sure we had it, we reached the beach only to discover it was nowhere amongst our possessions. We returned to find it sitting on the kitchen island (sigh).

Our first week of school has been challenging. It is always difficult to get back into the swing of things. I am praying for wisdom in carrying out the plans for each day. Sometimes it is hard to see where, as a home school mom, I am over or under tasking. If I do either someone is going to be frustrated (ok, it's me, I admit it!).

Oma is flying overhead to visit us for a few days. She lands in an hour, so I am off to find hubby to make sure he knows the time. I know where he is, I am just not telling you. Made you curious though, huh?

Grandpa and Oma Visit

I can't believe it's been over a week since I last posted. It was a busy week with Grandpa and Oma visiting as well as Ashley's Science and History Fair taking place for our Co-op. We had a great visit. I am tired so have decided to just post a short hello. We took some great pictures this week which I will load later. You won't believe what we did this week! I am not going to tell you. You will have to come back to see the pictures... I hope I have peaked your interest!
